Moving Forward with Iris Van Herpen

She WOW-ed me so much with her avantgarde garments. I could hardly believe my eyes as no other designers have ever excited me this much since McQueen.  She makes great use of unconventional materials and does not stick to your mundane fabrics, for that I totally admire her and she continuously inspires me as I research more and more into her work.  Everything is so intricate, yet beautiful and dark.  The garments can be futuristic and hard but still captures the inner beauty and innocence that plays around our mind.  Having worked along side Viktor & Rolf and Alexander McQueen, Iris is also represented by Blow PR, this extremely creative female designer is definitely the one to watch out for and not just for her talent but for helping us to dream and expanding our minds. I sure that she will continue to fascinate us many years to come.

What more can I say, the man is a legend. He doesn't follow the stereotypical photoshop editing and artificial perfection but allow us to experience the personal fragility and strength of his subjects. The raw beauty of his pictures is amongst his key successes for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and not to mention designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Miuccia Prada, to name but a few have been following him for decades.
